Roasted Chuck Shoulder — Simple Serving

Roasted Chuck Shoulder — Simple Serving
Introduction
This short recipe shows how to turn roasted chuck (shoulder cut) into a flavorful, simple dish using
olive oil, onion, salt and black pepper. It’s perfect when you already have a roasted chuck and want a quick
way to refresh and serve it — great for family meals or a casual dinner.
Ingredients
- 3 pounds roasted chuck, shoulder cut
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 onion, chopped
What You’ll Need
- Large skillet or frying pan
- Sharp knife
- Cutting board
- Tongs or spatula
How to Prepare
- Slice or shred the roasted chuck into bite-sized pieces or thin slices, depending on preference.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat until shimmering.
- Add the chopped onion and sauté for 4–6 minutes, stirring occasionally, until softened and lightly golden.
- Add the sliced roasted chuck to the skillet and toss to combine with the onion. Warm the meat through for 3–5 minutes.
- Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste. Stir well and remove from heat.
- Serve immediately — the warmed chuck is great on plates with sides, in sandwiches, or over rice/pasta.
If your roasted chuck is already well-seasoned, taste before adding extra salt.
Serving Suggestions
- Serve over steamed rice or mashed potatoes for a hearty plate.
- Use the warmed beef and onions as a filling for sandwiches or wraps with fresh greens.
- Top with fresh parsley or a squeeze of lemon for brightness, if available.
